About The Mighty 4

Since 1998, Mighty 4 has served as the San Francisco Bay Area’s only annual Hip Hop cultural festival which strives to unify and preserve the four cornerstones of Hip Hop culture: Emceein’, Writin’ (aerosol art), DJin’, and Breakin’ (a.k.a. Breakdancing / Streetdance). Mighty 4 provides Hip Hop enthusiasts and spectators of all ages with quality “edutainment” and professional to amateur level competition dance forums. These events also include Emcee/Turntablist performances, featured guest dance workshops, town hall Hip Hop discussion panels, Graffiti writing exhibitions, 21+ night club preparties & afterparties, free BBQ park jams, and vendor market places catering to the street culture lifestyle.
Now in its 10th year of existence, Mighty 4 has expanded event tour operations across North America to over 16+ cities, as well as 20 countries worldwide and still growing. The annual San Francisco Mighty 4 serves as the main homebase anniversary each October bringing in thousands of worldwide attendees and supporters for the 3 day event weekend. The theme of “Bridging the gap” has always been the driving factor in pushing the culture of Hip Hop in its full entirety.
